Established 2025Director: Roger Hunt

About the Center

The Center for Innovation Ethics is dedicated to addressing the complex ethical challenges posed by modern entrepreneurial ecosystems and investment practices. Our interdisciplinary team combines expertise from business ethics, philosophy, economics, and policy studies to develop frameworks for responsible innovation and ethical investment. Through research, education, and policy recommendations, we aim to reframe the investor thesis to better distribute risk across entrepreneurial ecosystems while ensuring that innovation aligns with human values and societal well-being.

Our Mission

To advance understanding of ethical challenges in entrepreneurial ecosystems through research that reframes the investor thesis, focusing on risk distribution and human values in innovation. We develop frameworks for responsible innovation and ethical investment while fostering dialogue between technologists, investors, and ethicists.
